La Gimnasia Activa es una actividad física que se realiza con el objetivo de mejorar la salud y el bienestar del cuerpo y va dirigida principalmente a adultos y mayores.
La Gimnasia Activa trabaja partes específicas del cuerpo: brazos, abdomen, piernas, glúteos, influencia combinada tal como (piernas y glúteos), entre otras.
Los ejercicios físicos que abarca, entre otros, son: ejercicios de movilidad articular, ejercicios de elongación, ejercicios con implementos, ejercicios de respiración y ejercicios fuerza.
